The phrases

ahaṃkāraṃ balaṃ darpaṃ kāmaṃ krodhaṃ parigraham (अहंकारं बलं दर्पं कामं क्रोधं परिग्रहम्) is one pile of accusatives. Ego, force, pride, desire, anger, grasping. All of them are the object of the gerund.

vimucya nirmamaḥ śāntaḥ (विमुच्य निर्ममः शान्तः) is the man after the release. Having let that pile go, he is without "mine," and calm. Both adjectives are nominative, the subject of kalpate (कल्पते).

brahmabhūyāya kalpate (ब्रह्मभूयाय कल्पते) is the fitness the summary has been building toward. He is ready for becoming brahman (ब्रह्म). The dative is what he is fit for.

Sanskrit in this line

The dative answers "for." brahma-bhūyāya (ब्रह्म-भूयाय) is "for the becoming of brahman (ब्रह्म)," and kalpate (कल्पते) takes that dative: he is fit for it. शान्तः + ब् śāntaḥ + b of brahma (ब्रह्म) is recited śānto (शान्तो), because aḥ (अः) before a voiced consonant becomes o (ओ).

Say it back

Cover the English. Say the six he releases, then what he is fit for. If brahma-bhūyāya (ब्रह्म-भूयाय) becomes a place he travels to later, stay here.
