Mīmāṃsā Sūtra / Adhyāya 11 / 11.1.11

एकेनापि समाप्येत कृतार्थत्वाद् यथा क्रत्वन्तरेषु प्राप्तेषु चोत्तरावत् स्यात्

ekenāpi samāpyeta kṛtārthatvād yathā kratvantareṣu prāpteṣu cottarāvat syāt

The line

Some, not even, samāpyeta (समाप्येत), because of a compound: made, done, a thing, a meaning, and the state of being that, as, in a compound: a rite, and a difference, an interval, in what already follows, cottarāvat (चोत्तरावत्), it would be, let it be granted.

Where it sits

In Mīmāṃsā (मीमांसा) Sūtra (सूत्र), adhyāya (अध्याय) 11. One performance serving many purposes, and when the acts stay separate. The words of this line are the ones to keep. A shorter line after this one may leave them unsaid.

Split: eke (एके) + na (न) + api (अपि) + samāpyeta (समाप्येत) + kṛta-artha-tvāt (कृत-अर्थ-त्वात्) + yathā (यथा) + kratu-antareṣu (क्रतु-अन्तरेषु) + prāpteṣu (प्राप्तेषु) + cottarāvat (चोत्तरावत्) + syāt (स्यात्)
