Kṛṣṇa (कृष्ण) is still speaking.
The verse
The yogin should constantly yoke the self, settled in a solitary place, alone, with mind and self held in, without expectation and without grasping.
नेपालीमा
योगीले आत्मालाई निरन्तर जोड्नुपर्छ, एकान्त ठाउँमा बसेर, एक्लै, मन र आत्मा भित्र समातेर, आशा नराखी र संग्रह नगरी।
Where it sits
The definition is over. Here the practice starts. Yoga is something he does with the self, in a place, under three restraints. The next verses tell him how to sit.

The phrases
योगी युञ्जीत सततम् आत्मानम् yogī yuñjīta satatam ātmānam is the command of the whole practical stretch. The yogin should yoke the self, and keep yoking it.
rahasi sthitaḥ (रहसि स्थितः) and ekākī (एकाकी) say where and in what company. Alone, in a solitary place. yatacittātmā (यतचित्तात्मा), nirāśīḥ (निराशीः), and aparigrahaḥ (अपरिग्रहः) are the three ways he stands there: mind held, no expectation, nothing grasped.
सततम् आत्मानम् satatam ātmānam is satatamātmānam (सततमात्मानम्). nirāśīḥ aparigrahaḥ (निराशीः अपरिग्रहः) is nirāśīr aparigrahaḥ (निराशीरपरिग्रहः).
Sanskrit in this line
yuñjīta (युञ्जीत) is the middle optative, "he should yoke," and the object is ātmānam (आत्मानम्). Middle is at home here: the yoking is done toward himself, not toward a thing he hands to someone else. 6.12 will use the active optative yuñjyāt (युञ्ज्यात्) when the object is yogam (योगम्). Same verb, two voices, and the object tells you why.
Say it back
What he yokes, where he stands, and the three restraints. If aparigrahaḥ (अपरिग्रहः) comes out as "he owns the right things," stay here.
