Where it sits

The phrases

etat-yonīni bhūtāni sarvāṇi (एतत्-योनीनि भूतानि सर्वाणि) is every being, with the two natures as their source. The neuter plural ending is on the compound because bhūtāni (भूतानि) is neuter. iti upadhāraya (इति उपधारय) tells him to hold that.

aham kṛtsnasya jagataḥ prabhavaḥ pralayaḥ tathā (अहम् कृत्स्नस्य जगतः प्रभवः प्रलयः तथा) is the second hold. Of the whole world, he is where it comes from, and likewise where it dissolves. The two natures are the womb of beings. He is the origin and the end of the world those beings make.

Sanskrit in this line

सर्वाणि + इति + उपधारय sarvāṇi + iti + upadhāraya is recited sarvāṇīty upadhāraya (सर्वाणीत्युपधारय). Two joins, in order.

इ + इ i + i becomes ī (ई). सर्वाणि + इति sarvāṇi + iti is sarvāṇīti (सर्वाणीति).

इ + उ i + u becomes yu (यु). इति + उपधारय iti + upadhāraya is ity upadhāraya (इत्युपधारय). The u (उ) of upa (उप) is still there. The i (इ) of iti (इति) has become y (य्). If you hear upadhāraya (उपधारय) and miss iti (इति), you miss the "thus."

Say it back

Say what beings come from, then the two things he is to the world. If pralayaḥ (प्रलयः) drops out and only the origin remains, stay here.
