श्रीभगवानुवाच
हन्त ते कथयिष्यामि दिव्या ह्यात्मविभूतयः ।
प्राधान्यतः कुरुश्रेष्ठ नास्त्यन्तो विस्तरस्य मे ॥

śrībhagavān uvāca
hanta te kathayiṣyāmi divyā hy ātmavibhūtayaḥ
prādhānyataḥ kuruśreṣṭha nāsty anto vistarasya me

śrībhagavān (श्रीभगवान्) is speaking again. Kṛṣṇa (कृष्ण) grants the request and cuts it.

The verse

The blessed lord said: Well then, I will tell you my divine splendors, the chief ones, best of the Kurus; there is no end of my extent.

Where it sits

The list is about to start, and the terms of the list are set first. He will tell the principal splendors. He will not tell all of them, because they have no end. Every item that follows is an example under that limit. The rule that gathers the untold ones is 10.41.

Split: हन्त + ते + कथयिष्यामि + दिव्याः + हि + आत्म-विभूतयः + प्राधान्यतः + कुरु-श्रेष्ठ + न + अस्ति + अन्तः + विस्तरस्य + मे

The phrases

hanta te kathayiṣyāmi divyāḥ hi ātmavibhūtayaḥ (हन्त ते कथयिष्यामि दिव्याः हि आत्मविभूतयः) accepts the imperative kathaya (कथय). He will tell the divine splendors of himself. The nominative divyāḥ ātmavibhūtayaḥ (दिव्याः आत्मविभूतयः) is the same shape Arjuna used.

prādhānyataḥ kuruśreṣṭha (प्राधान्यतः कुरुश्रेष्ठ) is the cut. The chief ones, not the remainder-less whole. na asti antaḥ vistarasya me (न अस्ति अन्तः विस्तरस्य मे) is the reason. There is no end of his extent. aśeṣeṇa (अशेषेण) in 10.16 meets this sentence.

Sanskrit in this line

kathayiṣyāmi (कथयिष्यामि) is future. The --iṣya- (इष्य-) marks time to come, "I will tell," answering the imperative kathaya (कथय) of 10.18.

na (न) + asti (अस्ति) + antaḥ (अन्तः) is recited nāsty antaḥ (नास्त्यन्तः), and then antaḥ (अन्तः) before vistarasya (विस्तरस्य) becomes anto (अन्तो). i (इ) + a (अ) becomes ya (य), so asti (अस्ति) + antaḥ (अन्तः) is asty antaḥ (अस्त्यन्तः). aḥ (अः) before voiced v (व्) becomes o (ओ).

Say it back

What he will tell, and the limit. prādhānyataḥ (प्राधान्यतः), and na asti antaḥ (न अस्ति अन्तः). If the verse comes out as a promise of the whole list, stay here.
