नान्तोऽस्ति मम दिव्यानां विभूतीनां परन्तप ।
एष तूद्देशतः प्रोक्तो विभूतेर्विस्तरो मया ॥

nānto 'sti mama divyānāṃ vibhūtīnāṃ parantapa
eṣa tūddeśataḥ prokto vibhūter vistaro mayā

Kṛṣṇa (कृष्ण) continues. He closes the extent the way he opened it.

The verse

There is no end of my divine splendors, scorcher of the foe; this extent of the splendor has been declared by me only by way of pointing.

नेपालीमा

हे शत्रु पोल्ने, मेरा दिव्य विभूतिको अन्त्य छैन। विभूतिको यो विस्तार मैले सङ्केत गरेर मात्र भनेको हुँ।

Where it sits

The catalogue is over. He names it as a set of indications. The next verse is the rule that makes an indication enough: you do not need every item, because the rule covers the ones he did not say.

Split: न + अन्तः + अस्ति + मम + दिव्यानाम् + विभूतीनाम् + परन्तप + एषः + तु + उद्देशतः + प्रोक्तः + विभूतेः + विस्तरः + मया

The phrases

na antaḥ asti mama divyānāṃ vibhūtīnām (न अन्तः अस्ति मम दिव्यानां विभूतीनाम्) says again what 10.19 said. There is no end of his divine splendors. The list Arjuna has just heard is not the whole.

eṣaḥ tu uddeśataḥ proktaḥ vibhūteḥ vistaraḥ mayā (एषः तु उद्देशतः प्रोक्तः विभूतेः विस्तरः मया) says what the list was. This extent of the splendor has been declared by him only as a pointing. uddeśataḥ (उद्देशतः) answers both vistareṇa (विस्तरेण) and aśeṣeṇa (अशेषेण). He told at length, and he told by indication.

Sanskrit in this line

eṣaḥ (एषः) before a consonant loses its visarga. eṣaḥ (एषः) + tu (तु) is eṣa tu (एष तु), not eṣo tu (एषो तु) and not eṣas tu (एषस्तु). saḥ (सः) did this in 10.3. Then tu (तु) + uddeśataḥ (उद्देशतः) is tūddeśataḥ (तूद्देशतः), because u (उ) + u (उ) becomes ū (ऊ). The written line is eṣa tūddeśataḥ (एष तूद्देशतः).

na (न) + antaḥ (अन्तः) + asti (अस्ति) is nānto 'sti (नान्तोऽस्ति). a (अ) + a (अ) becomes ā (आ), and aḥ (अः) + a (अ) becomes o ' (ओऽ).

Say it back

No end, and the manner of the telling. na antaḥ (न अन्तः), uddeśataḥ (उद्देशतः). If uddeśataḥ (उद्देशतः) comes out as "in full," stay here. It is a pointing.
