काममाश्रित्य दुष्पूरं दम्भमानमदान्विताः ।
मोहाद्गृहीत्वासद्ग्राहान्प्रवर्तन्तेऽशुचिव्रताः ॥
kāmam āśritya duṣpūraṃ dambhamānamadānvitāḥ
mohād gṛhītvāsadgrāhān pravartante 'śucivratāḥ
Kṛṣṇa (कृष्ण) turns from the view to the desire they act from.
The verse
Resorting to insatiable desire, filled with hypocrisy, pride, and intoxication, they seize false holdings out of delusion and proceed, their vows impure.
नेपालीमा
अतृप्त इच्छाको आश्रय लिएर, ढोंग, घमण्ड र मदले भरिएका, तिनीहरू मोहबाट झुटा कुरा समात्छन् र अशुद्ध व्रत लिएर अघि बढ्छन्।
Where it sits
Desire, which they named as the world's only cause, is now the thing they themselves resort to. The portrait has moved from what they say to what they take up and how they go on.

The phrases
कामम् आश्रित्य दुष्पूरम् दम्भ-मान-मद-अन्विताः kāmam āśritya duṣpūram dambha-māna-mada-anvitāḥ is the refuge and the company. They resort to a desire that cannot be filled, and hypocrisy, pride, and intoxication go with them. dambha (दम्भ) was the first word of the demonic list in 16.4.
mohāt gṛhītvā asat-grāhān pravartante aśuci-vratāḥ (मोहात् गृहीत्वा असत्-ग्राहान् प्रवर्तन्ते अशुचि-व्रताः) is the act. Out of delusion they seize false holdings and go on. aśuci-vratāḥ (अशुचि-व्रताः) describes them while they go: the vows they keep are impure.
Sanskrit in this line
मोहात् + गृहीत्वा mohāt + gṛhītvā is recited mohād gṛhītvā (मोहाद्गृहीत्वा). t (त्) before the voiced g (ग्) becomes d (द्). The word is still the ablative mohāt (मोहात्), "from delusion." gṛhītvā (गृहीत्वा) has no prefix, so the gerund is --tvā (त्वा). āśritya (आश्रित्य), with a prefix, takes --ya (य). Same job, two endings.
Say it back
Cover the English. Say what they resort to, and what kind of desire it is. If duṣpūram (दुष्पूरम्) is dropped, the desire has been made ordinary.
