Adhyāya 6

Summary

Adhyāya (अध्याय) 6 is the Veda's sentences, and how dharma and adharma are known. Perception does not see a command. The authority these lines give the Veda is the point Cārvāka (चार्वाक), as the reports give it, will not grant.

अध्याय ६ मा वेदका वाक्य र धर्म तथा अधर्म कसरी जानिन्छन् भन्ने कुरा छ। प्रत्यक्षले आज्ञा देख्दैन। यी पङ्क्तिले वेदलाई दिएको प्रमाण चार्वाकले मान्दैन भनेर विवरणहरूले बताउँछन्।

6.1.1	बुद्धिपूर्वा वाक्यकृतिर्वेदे buddhipūrvā vākyakṛtirvede A compound: the intellect, and the earlier, in a compound: a sentence, kṛti (कृति), and rveda (र्वेद).
6.1.2	ब्राह्मणे संज्ञाकर्म सिद्धिलिङ्गम् brāhmaṇe saṃjñākarma siddhiliṅgam In a brāhmaṇa (ब्राह्मण) passage, a compound: recognition, and action, a compound: establishment, and a mark.
