Upadeśasāhasrī / 4. Ahaṃpratyaya (अहंप्रत्यय)

4. Ahaṃpratyaya (अहंप्रत्यय)

Summary

Prakaraṇa (प्रकरण) 4 is the thought I, and how karma sprouts from that thought. The I that acts and enjoys is a taking of the body and the mind as the self. The verses follow that sprouting, not a new ritual.

The thought I, and how karma (कर्म) sprouts.
