The line

Not abandoned, not attained, not annihilated, not eternal, not stopped, not produced: this is said to be nirvāṇa (निर्वाण).

नेपालीमा

छोडिएको होइन, पाइएको होइन, उच्छेद भएको होइन, नित्य होइन, रोकिएको होइन, उत्पन्न भएको होइन, यसलाई निर्वाण भनिन्छ।

Where it sits

25.1 and 25.2 removed nirvāṇa (निर्वाण) as prahāṇa (प्रहाण) or nirodha (निरोध) of a real item. 25.3 says the word positively by negations. 25.4 begins the long refusal of nirvāṇa (निर्वाण) as a bhāva (भाव), an existent thing.

Split: aprahīṇam (अप्रहीणम्) + asaṃprāptam (असंप्राप्तम्) + anucchinnam (अनुच्छिन्नम्) + aśāśvatam (अशाश्वतम्) + aniruddham (अनिरुद्धम्) + anutpannam (अनुत्पन्नम्) + etat (एतत्) + nirvāṇam (निर्वाणम्) + ucyate (उच्यते)

The phrases

Six a- (अ-) words, the same gesture as the homage. nirvāṇa (निर्वाण) is not the abandoning of a something, and not the winning of a something. It is not a cutting-off and not a permanent state. It has not ceased and it has not arisen.

etan (एतन्) is the subject-pointer: this cluster is what nirvāṇa (निर्वाण) is said to be.

Sanskrit in this line

The six adjectives are neuter, agreeing with etan (एतन्) and with nirvāṇam (निर्वाणम्). ucyate (उच्यते) is 'is called,' not 'exists as.'

Say it back

Say the six. Notice which two repeat the homage.
